    Visiting the Gardens
    Picture
Bedrock Gardens exists as a place of natural beauty and creative artistic expression, a place where visitors may find both inspiration and repose. To ensure that all visitors have an enjoyable stay here and to preserve the beauty of the Gardens in the future, please respect the following policies. Thank you!
    GROUNDS
Respecting the Gardens and the work that has created them:
    • Please stay on pathways or grass and do not disturb the landscape.
    • Walking in flower beds will easily damage plants. Landscape rocks are in place by design. Structures can be damaged. So we ask you watch your step for your safety and to preserve what you are seeing.
    • Unless otherwise noted, buildings are only accessible for viewing from the outside; do not enter unless signage so indicates.
    • Sculptures should never be touched. Many have sharp edges. Children should be aware that these sculptures are not to be approached.
    • Please do not enter any water feature.
    • Flowers, trees, and other plantings, including vegetables, are grown for display and educational purposes. Do not pick or otherwise disturb them.
    • Please respect and enjoy the wildlife in the Garden. Observe with your eyes and cameras only. Do not chase the animals or feed the fish.
    • Do not approach the bee hives.
    • If you have brought children, it is your responsibility to supervise them in the garden at all times. Be sure they are aware of, and follow all rules.

    FOOD & BEVERAGES
Food and beverages are permitted in the Garden. However, the Garden does not provide trash bags and/or receptacles for the removal of trash. Please carry out what you have carried in. As we say, "Pack it in, pack it out." Learn more about local eateries here.

    SMOKING
As an environmentally friendly place, the Garden is smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds, including the parking lot.

    PERSONAL ITEMS
The Friends of Bedrock Gardens, and Bedrock Gardens, are not responsible for any lost or stolen personal property. Valuables should not be left unattended.Keep your personal items with you at all times.

    RECREATIONAL SCOOTERS & SKATEBOARDS

    SERVICE ANIMALS & PETS
Bedrock Gardens complies with all ADA guidelines with respect to service animals. Service animals are welcome, but please leave pets and Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) at home. Please let us know you have a service animal when you arrive so we can make our staff aware. View frequently asked questions about service animals and the ADA.

    PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
You are welcome to take photographs: non-commercial photography and videotaping are permitted. Commercial filming and photoshoots are allowed with a permit. We ask you to please adhere to our photography policy and make an appointment if applicable.

    ACCESSIBILITY
The walkways and paths are mostly either lawn or hard-pack, with some being accessible to regular wheelchairs, and most accessible to all-terrain wheelchairs. No golf carts are available for general public use.

    PARKING
Free parking is available on a first come, first served basis.

    VANS & BUSES
There is parking for vans and buses. Drop guests off at the Visitors' Entrance, and then park in the open areas of the parking area. Idling is not permitted.

    NEIGHBORHOOD
We have good neighbors. Bedrock Gardens would not exist without the help many of them have given us over the years.
Please respect them by not going on their property, turning in their driveways, walking your dog on their right-of-way, etc.
Please drive carefully on High Road.  The speed limit is 35 miles per hour.  Don’t park on the road.

    WEATHER
The Garden makes every effort to remain open during posted hours, but reserves the right to close in the event of bad weather.
