PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES
We’re thrilled that you appreciate the beauty of Bedrock Gardens! We look forward to having you here for your photography sessions.
General Guidelines:
Informal photography, including non-commercial photography and videotaping, are permitted. However, photography involving equipment and commercial photography requires permission. Please see the details below.
Individual Photographers:
You are welcome to take photographs of Bedrock Gardens for personal use and enjoyment, including amateur, student photography, and graduation pictures. There is no charge for this, aside from the suggested donation for admission. Have fun! For casual paid work, such as graduation portraits involving no equipment and a small group of two or three, please consider making an additional donation to support the garden. If you capture great images, we would love for you to share a few with us for our use, with proper attribution, of course.
Drones
Use of drones is not permitted at any time without prior approval.
Professional and Commercial Photography:
For less casual photography, such as portrait, graduation. or wedding sessions with equipment, commercial photography (for magazine advertisements, corporate publications, brochures, restaurant menus, etc.), video, film shoots, and drone use (see separate policy on drones), appropriate permission is required. The fee is $50 per hour. All visits must be scheduled, often on times or days when the garden is not typically open to the public. More information is available
