2015
There were Hundreds of Dwellings, creations of students of Dover High and Oyster River Middle Schools working with their teachers, Francine Kontos, Shelley Quintin, and Joe Boucher.
The exhibit took place at the May 16 & 17 Open House.

We launched a new undertaking in the Town of Lee: Lee in Bloom!
We planted tulips with the help of the Mastway Elementary students, who did an entire project on bulbs:
When done, and plants were added, it looked a little thin:
But then the tulips burst forth:
the students loved it:
and it shone from then until the fall, including the Hairy Balls in the plant on the left:
We hosted Music, Dancing, and Art
A Shoe-Themed Art Show:
Our Open Houses had themes:
The Caterpillar Lab
The Bug Guy, Alan Eaton
Wildlife Encounters, with a hedgehog and a tortoise and lots more
We sold food, courtesy of The Portable Pantry,
and sold Plants, courtesy of Broken Arrow Nursery, growers of rare and unusual plants.
Bedrock Gardens is a good place to have a wedding.
...and future wedding: we had two proposals on our first Open House.
There are always visitors.
Live and Learn, in Lee
We did some work
Put a Patio under the Termi
Looked a little shabby,
|
and was a bit unstable,
|
so we dug it up and put crushed rock down,
|
piled loam around it, and...
|
nice patio, Bob!
|
Harvey's Farm added tree stumps to our berm
Friends of Bedrock Gardens continued being increasingly active:
A drone and its owner popped in
and took photos:
and some videos:
