    2015

We had a Special Event: The Dwellings

    To 2014
    To 2016
There were Hundreds of Dwellings, creations of students of Dover High and Oyster River Middle Schools working with their teachers, Francine Kontos, Shelley Quintin, and Joe Boucher.

The exhibit took place at the May 16 & 17 Open House.

We launched a new undertaking in the Town of Lee: Lee in Bloom!

We started with a 1000 sq ft area in front of Mastway School that was empty, and prepared it:

We planted tulips with the help of the Mastway Elementary students, who did an entire project on bulbs:

When done, and plants were added, it looked a little thin:

But then the tulips burst forth:

    the students loved it:

and it shone from then until the fall, including the Hairy Balls in the plant on the left:

We hosted Music, Dancing, and Art

    We did some work

Put a Patio under the Termi
    Looked a little shabby,
    and was a bit unstable,
so we dug it up and put crushed rock down,
    Picture
    Picture
    Picture
    piled loam around it, and...
    nice patio, Bob!

Harvey's Farm added tree stumps to our berm

    and some videos:

Jill made a sculpture for the Lee transfer Station

commemorating its 250th anniversary. Themes are those of old Lee, dairy, lumber, and hearth. It is 13 feet high...

    End Notes:

Garrish Garden lived up to its name.
    Picture
We had a raven family that we fed regularly, and they would come (maybe) when we called.
    Picture
    Tulips announce Spring.
    Picture
Bob caught another 3.5 ft Northern Water Snake...and relocated it alive to the river.

    We took some interesting photos.
