Board MemberGary Bashline lives virtually in sand on the Seacoast, and Bedrock Gardens sustains his garden dreams.
He has always maximized his free time by having fun while giving back through volunteering. He has been enriched by volunteer experiences, and gives back by volunteering: over the past 40 years, he has volunteered at Pontine Theater (board member four years and president for two terms), Isle of Shoals Research Associations (board member three terms, membership chair two terms, and conference chair for two fall events on Star Island), Hampton Area Lions Club (president three terms and secretary two terms), along with many others (Portsmouth Music Hall for fifteen years, Discovery Portsmouth, Strawbery Bank, Castle Hill Cranes Beach, and Appleton Farms, Granite State Ambassador, Historic New England, and others). He retired from the state of NH as Regional Supervisor for the NH State Parks on the Seacoast in 2017. He lives on the coast with his wife Kate. |
