NEW for Spring 2021. A family program with hybrid virtual/in-person experience for young children and their families.
We invite you to be part of a connected community of like-minded families that value nature-based, whole child, sensory-rich educational experiences.
The Spring session is 4 weeks running from May 13 through June 4 . Enrollment is for the full four weeks.
Tuition is $250 per family for four weeks for Bedrock Gardens Family members and $300 per family for nonmembers. Tuition must be paid in advance.
- Weekly parent-child, small group, teacher-led discovery, and play walks will be held at Bedrock Gardens on Fridays with six families in each group (10:30 am, 12:30, 3:00 pm). Each group will include time to sing, share discoveries, socialize, play, and marvel at the incredible natural world together. Our program is an hour and fifteen minutes long. Bring a picnic and build our programming into your daily routine.
- A weekly materials kit will be distributed each Friday. The kit will include daily activities and suggestions on ways to connect our themes with your child/children. Materials are geared toward 3-to-5-year-old children; however, activities will be open-ended, nature-based, and creative and may therefore appeal to a broader range of children.
- Optional Zoom meetings (Mondays and Thursdays) will focus on connection and interaction with one another and working on projects together with materials from our kits. We'll suggest outdoor activities around your home, at a nearby park, or your independent visits to Bedrock gardens.
