"To help make ends meet with their four kids, my parents grew a large backyard garden and preserved hundreds of jars of vegetables and fruits and stored them in a “cold” room in the basement. We all helped weeding, but I don't remember hating it as I loved playing in the dirt. I have loved gardening forever and have always had a vegetable garden. When I moved to Barrington there were many trips to nurseries and swaps of perennials with the neighbors and my gardens grew. I have been involved with our town garden club since its inception in 2007. I completed the Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program in 2013, and in 2014 I became involved with Bedrock Gardens."
