Bedrock Gardens hosts The Caterpillar Lab
Friday June 3, Saturday June 4 & Sunday June 5th, from 10-4
Enjoy a special Biodiversity Weekend and a family fun event highlighting the fascinating world of caterpillars, butterflies, bees and the important role they play in our gardens.
Like Bedrock Gardens, The Caterpillar Lab works to help open people’s eyes to the value and importance of their backyards, neighborhoods, and green spaces.
Audiences of all ages can find engagement with the natural world up close and with details seldom seen without expert educators like our friends at The Caterpillar Lab.

Our resident beekeeper MaryEllen McKeen (and VP of NH Beekeepers Association) will also be on hand to teach from our hives and a special observation hive that provides an up close look at the pollinators that keep our gardens abuzz, fruitful, and honey-laden.
It should be a perfect weekend to plan a family visit, so bring out the grands, kids and neighbors to enjoy the event and a picnic lunch. Boxed lunches can be ordered in advance for Saturday and Sunday on this special event weekend.
Details and menu here. Preorder before the weekend by phoning Mary V. at 603-923-7856
We will also be offering garden tours at 10:15 and 1:00.
Pollinator plants, honey and lots of other garden items will also be available throughout the weekend.
Regular Admission is the usual suggested $15 donation, and, as always, children under 13 are free, and members get in free with presentation of their membership card.
