The Future
“The Garden Dies When the Gardener Dies” : a truism that we are having to face, since our combined age is 130 years. We are worried about the future of Bedrock Gardens.
Our ultimate goal is to convert our garden into a public garden that would serve as a destination for people interested in its horticulture and its interesting plants, its hardscape and sculpture, and its landscape design. We can envision it becoming a cultural center.
At the moment, there is a group of volunteers, Bedrock Garden Friends, actively pursuing this. They need contributions, of either time or money, to help put on events at Bedrock Gardens.
